Would love to see a true SOS analysis that starts everyone at 0

The first week, everyone that won would be ahead of everyone that lost. As the season went on it would somewhat get to an answer. Problem is, you there is not enough data for that to work. Winning in a crap conference will still be better than losing in a great conference. UTSA would likely finished ahead of AL and GA. Too many teams and too few games to have anything truly objective.

The biggest issue is, too many think this is about what is fair or right. This is about what makes the most money. IMO the closest we ever had to what was fair and right was the BCS when USC was left out of the MNC game. The whole argument for them was they had lost earlier, thus had risen in the polls (you win you move up, lose you move down was the way the polls work). OK lost in their conf championship, so moved down and the writers took their ball and went home since their choice didn't get picked.
